Summer Fun with Healthy Cannabis Infused Drinks
Summer is known for being that time of year when people enjoy being outside, socializing, and enjoying cocktails with others at barbeques, reunions, and other festivities. Across the nation, however, many individuals are choosing to a go a greener route and are exchanging alcohol cocktails for delightful cannabis infused drinks. Below you can find 2 recipes for canna-infused drinks that will elevate your mind and body rather than leaving you with a devastating hangover.
Rosemary Mint Canna-Lemonade (8 Cups)
8 cups of cold water
8 large lemons
1 cup of sugar
10 sprigs of mint
1/2 vanilla bean scraped
2 sprigs of rosemary
2 tbsp. of Glycerin Based Cannabis Tincture
To make this cannabis infused cocktail first begin bringing the water to a boil. Then take your lemons and cut them in halves. Squeeze the lemon juice into a bowl and add the lemon halves, granulated sugar, cannabis tincture, vanilla bean, fresh mint and rosemary sprigs.
Once the water has boiled simply pour it over the mixture in the bowl, give it a quick stir and then allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes unrefrigerated.
Once cool enough, strain the mixture removing the fresh mint and rosemary sprigs as well as the lemon halves and place into a container of your choice. Refrigerate until chilled. Best served over ice. For an added kick you can garnish the drink with fresh cannabis, lemon slices, rosemary, or mint leaves.
Lavender Cannabis Infused Tea (Single Cup)
- 1 tsp. Glycerine Based Cannabis Tincture
- 2 Drops of CPTG Lavender Essential Oil
- 1 Cups of Water
- 1 Bag of Your Favorite Black or Green Tea, Preferably not Flavored
- Cup of Ice
This cannabis-infused drink is easy to make and only requires a few simple steps. First, bring the water to a boil and pour into your preferred heat safe cup. Then add the tea bag, cannabis tincture, and Lavender essential oil and allow it to brew for 10-15 minutes. Next simply remove the tea bag, pour over ice, and enjoy!
