High Volume: EDC Las Vegas
EDC is coming up quick in Las Vegas May 18-20 and the dusk till dawn dance fest will definitely be a summer highlight.
EDC Vegas has so many artists playing, you can truly make it your own festival. The lineup features all of the artists listed alphabetically and reminds you that the music fan is the real festival headliner, and your experience at EDC can be completely free to what you are feeling that day.
Since Cannabis is legal in Las Vegas we spoke with Mike from Reef Dispensary to get his recommendations for the most festival fun:
"Reef Dispensary is located just off the Las Vegas Strip, behind the Fashion Show Mall. Anyone that is 21+ years of age with ID can purchase cannabis legally at Reef. However, EDC does not allow cannabis inside the festival, nor is public consumption allowed in the state of Nevada. Our advice? Take an edible before you leave for EDC. They should kick in a few hours after your arrival".
Because Cannabis is still not legal inside the festival, Mike suggests taking a look at their edibles selection, continuing "Because edibles take longer to feel the effect, those are perfect for ingesting before you leave for the event. We are also giving away festival survival kits to anyone with an EDC wristband or email confirmation at Reef. These include a Reef fanny pack, bandana, earplugs, "Orange Zkittlez" flavored chapstick and "weed googles", which will help you experience the fireworks better." Love the chapstick? Try the real thing! Mike says, "The Orange Zkittlez is a great tasting sativa hybrid that will give you a nice burst of energy for the festival. I'd also recommend the Khalifa Kush gummies."
Make sure you check out Reef Dispensaries at their various locations while you're in Vegas! We also recommend Nevada Wellness Center, Thrive, and Blackjack Collective.
